Qualified Charitable Distributions from Your IRA: Did you know?

Looking to make a powerful impact on wildlife without affecting your monthly budget? If you are 70½ or older and have a traditional Individual Retirement Account (IRA), you are eligible to make a gift from your IRA to WWF. These gifts, called Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs–also known as an IRA Charitable Rollover), can be made whether or not you itemize your deductions on your tax return. In many cases, these gifts are 100% tax-free, allowing you to protect wildlife without increasing your taxable income. Contact us today!

To qualify

  • You must be age 70½ or older at the time you make your gift.
  • Transfers must be made directly from a traditional or Roth IRA account to WWF.
  • Gift must be outright with no material benefits received and cannot be used to fund gift annuities.
