Iris Mwanza

IRIS MWANZA grew up in Zambia in a family deeply involved in wildlife conservation. She has spent most of her career in international development, working at the World Bank and in global health organizations. Currently, she is the director of Community Health Roadmap. Previously, Iris was president and executive director of the BroadReach Institute for Training and Education, an organization dedicated to building capacity in the health sector in Africa. Early in her professional life, Mwanza worked as a corporate lawyer in both Zambia and the US. She has an MA and PhD in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, as well as law degrees from Cornell University and the University of Zambia.
