Katherine brings more than 15 years of experience working at the intersection of business and conservation. Collaborating with internal and external experts, she crafts concise, digestible business cases on a range of topics related to food production, analyzing how sustainability can lead to positive bottom-line impacts and reduced risk. She is passionate about viewing conservation challenges with an economic and financial lens to inspire corporate and government leaders to think differently and ambitiously scale solutions.

Prior to WWF, Katherine spent 5 years at Grameen Foundation, where she developed and analyzed business models designed to provide digital agricultural and financial services to farmers and low-income consumers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Katherine’s coffee addiction and agricultural interest began during a work stint with a coffee growers’ association in the Dominican Republic, kickstarting a penchant for exploring innovative financial and business models that bridge environmental, social, and business goals.
