Nishina Nambiar

As senior program officer on the US government partnerships team, Nishina Nambiar is primarily focused on researching and leading strategic US government opportunities. Nishina leads proposal development for US government proposals at WWF-US and across the WWF network.

Prior to joining WWF, Nishina worked at Conservation International (CI) for five years where she managed all development efforts for the CI science team, focused on advancing conservation projects around the world. Nishina has extensive fundraising experience; her previous work at Appleseed, a nonprofit network of public justice centers in the United States and Mexico, focused on working with individual and major gift donors. Nishina holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs and history from the University of Virginia.
