As a legislative affairs associate on WWF’s policy and government affairs team, Rose leads policy and advocacy efforts related to climate, infrastructure, and Arctic priorities. She partners with members of Congress and their staff, Federal agencies, the Administration, and non-governmental organizations to advance policies that create a climate-resilient world, scale up the use of renewable energy, and safeguard the Arctic from development.

Rose began her career in environmental policy working for senior members of Congress, including Chairman Sandy Levin (D-MI) of the House Ways and Means Committee and Chairman Frank Pallone (D-NJ) of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, which has jurisdiction over climate change, environmental protection, and energy policies. As the lead environmental staffer for these members, Rose advised them on a range of regulatory and legislative efforts related to sustainable infrastructure, offshore drilling, and coastal resiliency. In this role, she collaborated with Committee Staff, the Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other stakeholders to advance the Representatives’ messaging and legislative goals.
